Afarin Rahmanifar

Afarin Rahmanifar is an Iranian American Artist/Educator and Curator based in Connecticut. She holds her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut. She is currently an associate professor at ECSU, Fine Arts Department. Her multidisciplinary work consists of mixed media painting, installation, printmaking, sculpture, and animation film production. Her work has been written about and featured on the cover of “Eastern Art Report “art magazine, London, UK. Rahmanifar’s work has been exhibited and privately collected nationally and internationally. Her recent exhibitions are, Intercultural Center Gallery, NYC; Two Coats of Paint, SOHO20 Gallery, NY; Towson University, MD; The Mattatuck Museum CT; La Poisson Rouge NYC; Benton Museum CT; Sacred Heart University CT; Juniata College PA; Oglethorpe University GA; Charter Oak Cultural Center; CT, Jacksonville University FL; Columbia University NY; University of California at Berkeley; University of Illinois at Carbondale; Stockton College NJ; Framingham State College MA; Boston University MA; Yale University CT; She also exhibited internationally at Skopelos Foundation for the Arts in, Skopelos, Greece, China International Life Expo, Beijing, China, Singularts, Paris, France, and Gitanjali Gallery, Goa, India.
